This website showcases UW-Madison students' multimodal projects from the course JOURN 162: Mass Media in Multicultural America. This course is offered by Dr. Jing WANG at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC). Hyerin Kwon and Linjie Dai work with Dr. Wang as teaching assistants together. 

JOURN 162 is an introduction to the roles and functions of print, film, electronic and digital media in multicultural America. International comparisons highlight differences and commonalities in the social and cultural position of mass media in societies with racially and ethnically diverse populations.
